All rods and custom built rods come with a ONE year limited warranty. If you are not satisfied with the workmanship of the rod or custom built rod, then return it and we will re-wrap it. If you are still not satisfied, then we will refund you your money for the amount paid.
What we cover: Craftsmanship defects, problems with the finish, wraps, guides, handles, and reel seats coming loose from the blank. All of that is covered and will be repaired at no cost if the cause is determined to be other than abuse, neglect or misuse of the rod.
What is not covered: All problems, brakes or failures relating to the blank itself are subject to the manufactur’s warranty. If the blank is found faulty by the manufacture and a replacement blank is provided under warranty, then we will re-build your rod on the new blank at no cost to you.
Any damage to the guides or other components through abuse are not covered under our warranty, but can be repaired at an hourly rate. Weathering or corrosion of components such as reel seats, hardware, or guides is not covered under our warranty.
NW Big Fin can not be held accountable for manufacturer defects in the rod blank or components, but we can and will help you in a warranty replacement from the manufacturer.
